If you follow me on instagram (which you totally should! tayloranneliese91), you have seen this outfit before. I wore it to my friend Stephanie’s rehearsal party. I loved it so much I couldn’t resist giving it an entire post.

This dress is really a blank canvas for whatever accessories you pair it with. When I bought this dress, I actually thought it was quite ugly because it had a huge gold chain necklace built into it. But the fit was perfect and so flattering, and it was was surprisingly well made for H&M, so I bought it and a few snips later this dress was born.

When I first brought it home and showed Danny I could tell he hated it but was being nice. The look of relief on his face when I told him I was cutting off the chain was priceless haha.

I went all out with the pink for this look, because, why not? I bought these pink earrings a few months ago and pretty much planned the rest of the outfit around them. I think the mixture of shades keeps this two-tone look from being boring.

I think that this outfit is a good reminder that clothes don’t always have to stay as is. If the price is right and the fit is perfect, don’t hesitate to take it to be altered or take some style changes into your own hands!
